Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
1. Who we are
Lewis the Snake ("the app") is developed and published by FrontLetter Gaming ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how the app handles your information. If you have any questions, email michael.roef@frontletter.io.
2. Data we collect
None. The app does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. We do not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address or location.
3. Data stored on your device
To make the game work, a small amount of information is saved locally on your device only, using Apple's standard on-device storage:
- High scores: your longest snake length per difficulty.
- Settings: your chosen difficulty, language, and sound and haptics preferences.
This data stays on your device. We have no access to it. Deleting the app removes it. It may be included in your own encrypted device backups (for example iCloud or Finder), which are controlled entirely by you and Apple, not by us.
4. No third parties
The app contains no advertising networks, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and no social-media trackers. It does not make network requests to our servers, because it does not have any. Nothing about your play is sent anywhere.
5. Children's privacy
Because the app collects no data at all, it is safe for players of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from children or anyone else, since we collect nothing.
6. Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights over your personal data. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. You remain in full control of the local data on your device and can clear it at any time by deleting the app.
7. Contacting us by email
If you choose to email us or use the contact form on our website, we receive the details you send (such as your name, email address and message) so we can reply. We use them only to respond to your enquiry and do not sell them or use them for marketing.
8. Changes to this policy
If we add features in the future that change how data is handled (for example, optional online multiplayer), we will update this policy and the "last updated" date above, and describe clearly what changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
